Mobile Web UX Design
Thirdy is a website that helps people find third spaces with a focus on sober or sober-friendly places.
There are many adults who have chosen to cut back or completely cut out alcohol consumption and are having trouble finding sober-friendly things to do with friends in the evening or at night. Finding a solution to this issue can save many adults from reverting back to consuming alcohol and encourage them to socialize with less discomfort or fear, which can help with their overall wellbeing.
This project goes through the voice activated search functionality on the mobile site. Play around with the prototype by clicking on the link to the left.
To begin the voice activated search on your mobile device, click on the voice command button located underneath. The button will turn black and switch into listening mode. Now that the voice command is activated, ask what you’re looking to find. Location, distance, date and time can be included in the request.
Once a search is completed, there will be a list of results shown at the bottom of the screen. A map on the center of the screen will show pinpoints of the search results. Clicking on one of the pin points will highlight the associated results thumbnail below. Clicking on the thumbnail will send you to the event page.
The event page provides detailed information about the event. Events can be liked, shared or bookmarked. The buy tickets button redirects you to the purchase page of the event.
